Communications Policy

LendDirect provides valuable services via email, SMS text messaging, phone messages. These services may include promotions, discounts and coupons, and valuable financial resources. While we present these services on a limited basis, if at any time you wish to unsubscribe from email or SMS/text messaging, you may do so by following the instructions below.

SMS Terms and Conditions

By providing LendDirect with your mobile telephone number(s) and consenting to our Communications Policy, you authorize that we may deliver sales and marketing SMS to your mobile telephone number(s). Your cellular provider's message and data rates may apply to our SMS messages.

Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your name, address, cell phone number, your provider's name, the date and time, and content of your messages. We will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. SMS message services are provided on an "as is" basis.

SMS Opt-Out

You may opt-out and remove your phone number from additional messages by sending "STOP" to the SMS message you have received. You will receive a STOP confirmation reply as a requirement of the Mobile Marketing Association.

SMS Help or Support

For help or additional information regarding our texting services email us at CustomerService@LendDirect.ca, call us at 1-855-630-5363, or reply "HELP" to the message you receive at any time from your mobile device.

Marketing Email Terms and Conditions

By providing LendDirect with your email address(es) and consenting to our Communications Policy, you consent that we may send email messages* to your email address(es). Please add email@email-LendDirect.ca to your safe sender list or email address book. Email services are provided on an "as is" basis. You may unsubscribe from promotional messages at any time.

*May be limited to existing product/service information for some Customers. For Manitoba borrowers, emails limited to information/activities regarding your loan agreement.

Email Opt-Out

If you wish to unsubscribe from future promotional emails, please contact Customer Service via email at CustomerService@LendDirect.ca or by calling 1-855-630-5363. In addition, all of our promotional messages include an easy link to unsubscribe from future messages and manage your email subscription options.

    Secured Loan: Loan maximum of $25,000 with an APR of 34.99% based on a completed application, net pay, and other qualification requirements, and customer verification including a credit check.     Interac e-Transfer®: As soon as 15-minute funding available only when using Interac e-Transfer®. Subject to bank processing and system limitations. Interac e-Transfer® can be used to transfer funds up to $10,000. Interac® and the Interac design are registered trademarks of Interac Inc.

    §Pre-Approval: Submitting for pre-approval is how you discover if you are eligible for a LendDirect loan and includes a soft credit check which will not impact your credit score. Pre-approval does not guarantee loan approval. Should you decide to accept a loan offer, then a hard inquiry will occur which may have an impact.

    Credit Reporting: LendDirect reports payment history to Equifax® Canada credit bureau so it can help build your credit history if used responsibly. Various factors can affect your credit, including but not limited to paying all your bills on time every month, avoiding the usage of the full amount of your available credit, and lowering your credit usage balance compared to available credit. Missed payments, or other defaults on your account may be reflected in your credit report and may impact your ability to build credit. LendDirect offers personal loans and is not a credit repair service.

    Loan Protection Plan: Must be 18 years of age or older, and under 70 years of age to be eligible. The optional Loan Protection Plan is a Credit Group Insurance Plan Underwritten by Canadian Premier Life Insurance Company and Canadian Premier General Insurance Company.
