How Personal Loans Work

Your Personal Loan Explained in Detail

1 Applications can be completed 100% online

With LendDirect, you can complete your loan application 100% online and submit it for a lending decision. Or come into a branch to visit with one of our Financial Services Representatives.

2 Secure income verification process

After you submit your application, there’s just one more step to receive a lending decision. Provide information that documents your income either by using our online portal (not available in Saskatchewan), or by directly emailing Customer Service.

3 Receive a lending decision

We will typically provide you with a lending decision within 60 minutes or less (during business hours; applications submitted after business hours will be responded to the following business day).

4 Receive your funds

If approved, have your online personal loan funds direct deposited into your chequing account, or select to receive funds vie Interac e-Transfer® to get your money in 2 hours or less.

5 Make payments online

Pay back your personal loan online with regularly scheduled payments over time, as agreed in your loan documents.

6 Access more

As you pay down your loan, you can get additional cash advances up to your approved credit limit. No need to reapply to get more money.
